Life isn’t always a smooth ride.  At least it hasn’t been for me.  We all make mistakes and have things happen that we were not expecting or didn’t want to happen.  However, we need to continue to pick ourselves up and keep going.  That’s what success looks likes.

Success doesn’t go to the person who doesn’t fall down; Success goes to the person who won’t stay down!

In this episode, a new friend of mine Sutton Parks, (Singer, Song Writer, Motivational Speaker, Author and Coach) comes on the show to demonstrate that we all have ups and downs and we need to know what’s most important and to keep getting up and keep going towards our dream.

Oh and we talk about some business nuggets also!

Wait till you hear his song “This Is Your Life” at the end of the show.

Hi David & Sutton, thanks for episode.

I really enjoyed listing to Suttons story. Thanks for sharing all the insights and lessons.
Three things that resonated with me were:

    1) the idea of being grateful for both the positives and negatives in our past, cause they made us who we are today,
    2) not trying to hit home runs, but knocking off the 1s and 2s – small steps all add up and
    3) absolutely love the song at the end. :D

I think “This Is Your Life” should become my new success anthem. I’m a musician myself and know all the work that’s involved. Thanks for sharing this track and I would love to download it to regularly play it remind myself of what’s important in life.
